In daily life and industrial production, 301 stainless steel is widely used because of its excellent performance. But many people often ask: “301 stainless steel with magnetism?” Do not sell, first of all, the answer: depends on its processing state. - Unprocessed state: 301 stainless steel belongs to the austenitic stainless steel, almost no magnetism in the unprocessed or annealed state. - Processed state: after cold working (such as stretching, bending, etc.), part of the austenitic structure may be transformed into a martensitic structure, thus producing a certain degree of magnetism. The higher the degree of cold working, the more pronounced the magnetism.
